Wow, this is a really great drawing! I love the texture of the robot, as *akibara13 said, it really looks like metal!
Though, since you're trying to make him shiny, I would blur the white highlights on the main body just a tiny bit more.
Besides that (which is so minor I probably shouldn't even have mentioned it) it's a very great drawing!
